Incredibuild Bolsters AI-Driven Development with Strategic Acquisition of Kypso

TLDR: Incredibuild, a leader in build acceleration and intelligence, has acquired Kypso, a startup specializing in AI agents for engineering teams. This acquisition, announced on November 3, 2025, is a strategic move to enhance and accelerate code development pipelines, solidifying Incredibuild’s position as an AI-driven developer platform in the evolving software development landscape.

TEL AVIV, Israel – November 3, 2025 – Incredibuild, a prominent provider of build acceleration and intelligence solutions, today announced its strategic acquisition of Kypso, an innovative startup focused on developing AI agents for engineering teams. This significant move is set to accelerate code development pipelines and marks a pivotal step in Incredibuild’s evolution into a comprehensive AI-driven developer platform for pipeline acceleration.

The acquisition aims to empower developers to leverage artificial intelligence for faster software delivery, improved code quality, and enhanced productivity throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Shimon Hason, CEO of Incredibuild, emphasized the company’s commitment, stating, “With this acquisition, we are doubling down on our mission to become a comprehensive platform for pipeline acceleration – especially as AI reshapes how code is written and delivered.” He added that combining Incredibuild’s acceleration capabilities with Kypso’s advanced AI platform will enable next-generation build runners to support the increasing volume of AI-generated code, helping engineering teams navigate the complexities of modern software delivery and ushering in a new era of AI-driven development.

Kypso, known for its expertise in building AI agents for engineering teams, will integrate its capabilities into Incredibuild’s platform. Adam Gold, Co-Founder and CEO of Kypso, expressed enthusiasm for the merger: “Our mission from day one was to accelerate engineering teams’ delivery by streamlining their operations. By joining forces with Incredibuild, we now have the scale and reach to bring this vision to thousands of engineers around the world, while continuing to innovate and expand what’s possible for software creation.” The Kypso team will join Incredibuild to spearhead its new AI-native platform initiatives.

This acquisition follows Incredibuild’s earlier purchase of Garden in November 2024, indicating a clear strategy for growth and innovation. Incredibuild’s platform is already recognized for accelerating code building, testing, and deployment. It utilizes distributed computing and intelligent orchestration and caching technologies to transform traditional CI/CD pipelines into dynamic, high-performance environments. This enables both human developers and AI to build faster, improve code quality, and expedite product time-to-market. The company is trusted by major industry players such as Amazon, Adobe, and Activision.

In September 2025, Incredibuild had already announced the launch of a purpose-built platform designed for the AI-driven software development era. This platform focuses on eliminating bottlenecks across the SDLC by providing live SDLC telemetry, code change intelligence, test acceleration, and powerful caching and distributed computing. It also generates a unique dataset from thousands of production pipelines, converting build telemetry into actionable insights that provide AI agents and Large Language Models (LLMs) with crucial context from real-world enterprise software. This foundational technology supports build-aware code generation, intelligent test selection, and critical guidance systems to make AI safer, faster, and more effective in complex development environments.
