The Logistics AI Agent is designed to digitize delivery documents, which traditionally require manual processing. Truck drivers can utilize a dedicated app to scan documents, which the AI agent then verifies for completeness, legibility, address accuracy, and the presence of necessary customs documents. Simultaneously, the data is seamlessly transferred into the ERP operations planning system, enabling automated follow-up actions such as initiating payments upon full goods receipt. The underlying technology, SemaSuite® and the N8N process designer, facilitates these workflows in a low-code environment, making it accessible without deep IT knowledge. Furthermore, the agent can send real-time SMS updates to recipients if a delivery is delayed, boosting overall efficiency at the loading dock.

It coordinates with specialized AI colleagues to analyze public data, evaluate network capacity, and reallocate cellular resources as needed, preventing service degradation and optimizing efficiency. The long-term vision is to create ‘self-driving’ autonomous networks.

Conversational AI Systems: For business customers, Deutsche Telekom partners with market leaders to offer AI-powered dialog systems. These conversational AI solutions handle thousands of customer inquiries across various channels (phone, website, WhatsApp) in natural language, providing 24/7 availability and consistent service. They can answer common questions and identify complex issues, escalating to human staff when necessary.

AI Engineer: In software development, the AI Engineer is utilized both internally and for business customers to achieve significant efficiency gains. This agent automatically generates, documents, and tests code in modern languages like Python and TypeScript, as well as legacy languages such as COBOL and C++. Form Assistant: This AI-powered solution simplifies complex application processes for German authorities by digitizing and structuring forms.
